Worst Performers
The media/entertainment company Viaplay Group AB Series B saw the largest drop among the Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, with shares plummeting by 23.7% on Monday.
Other companies that experienced declines include:
- S4 Capital PLC, a business services firm, with shares dropping by 8.3%
- BELIMO Holding AG, an industrial goods company, which saw shares decline by 7.8%
Currency and Commodity Market Updates
The pound (GBPUSD) strengthened against the dollar, with a 0.20% increase, while the euro (EURUSD) weakened slightly by 0.01%.
In the commodity market, Brent crude (BRN00) gained 1.37% to reach $79.64.
Bond Yields
The yield on the 10-year gilt (BX:TMBMKGB-10Y) declined by 2.65 basis points to 3.909%, while the yield on the German 10-year bund (BX:TMBMKDE-10Y) dropped by 5.430 basis points to 2.29%.
